Tyson Fury may be some way off regaining the heavyweight title belts he surrendered following victory over Wladimir Klitschko.

But the 29-year-old remains determined to live the life of a king and claims to have ‘treated’ himself to a new house on Thursday.

In a series of photographs posted on Instagram, Fury could be seen standing outside a mansion, sitting in a study and apparently sealing the deal with a handshake.

‘New house had to treat myself,’ he wrote alongside the pictures. ‘Been a long time coming. But the Mack is back.’

Hours after the ‘massive announcement’, for heavyweight king Mike Tyson sent a message to his namesake, urging the self-styled Gypsy King to ‘have more confidence in himself’.

Fury recently claimed ‘Iron Mike’ would have knocked him out had they ever fought. But in a video uploaded to his Twitter page, Tyson reminded the British fighter that ‘anything can happen’ in a fight.

‘Hey Tyson Fury I heard you said I would knock you out if me and you fought. Man you have to have more confidence in yourself, anything can happen in a fight,’ he said.

‘You saw Buster Douglas knocked me out so anything can happen. You have to have more confidence in yourself and I look forward to seeing your comeback buddy, take care!’

Fury responded by posting a photo of the two of them shaking hands with the caption: ‘When @gypsyking101 met @miketyson, the man who I was named after and the man who I took note of in many ways and learned things from him to standout from the boxing crowd.

‘I wonder what the odds are for a child to be named after the heavyweight champion and then became heavyweight champion himself?’
