The boyfriend of a mother-of-two whose body was struck by unsuspecting vehicles as it lay in the middle of a motorway during rush hour said he is ‘in mourning’ and struggling to come to terms with her tragic death.

Dominique Worrall, 32, was found dead by horrified drivers on the London-bound carriageway on the M20 near Ashford, Kent, on Tuesday night.

Her boyfriend Terry Dunne told The Sun: ‘I’m just in mourning. It’s tragic what happened to her and difficult to come to terms with.’

It is understood a man, who has not been named, was arrested on Thursday before being released on bail by police.

The ex-waitress, described as ‘a wonderful person’ with ‘an infectious giggle’, had recently moved to Camber Sands caravan park in East Sussex with her two children. She had two daughters aged ten and three.

Grieving friend Martin Collins, 31, said: ‘She was such a lovely, bright, bubbly, fun-loving girl.’

One friend, who did not want to be named, said today: ‘She loved her kids, we used to do days out with her and them and it was wonderful.

Detectives arrested a man, reported to be the unnamed woman’s partner, on suspicion of murder when he came forward following a police appeal. He has since been released on bail.

According to reports, police were scouring a holiday park in Kent for evidence on Tuesday night.

It is thought that the woman had moved there from Ashford with her two children and new partner in November.

Officers were also said to be investigating whether she was killed at the holiday camp on the Kent coast before her body was driven to the M20 and dumped.

It is understood the woman’s remains had been struck several times by passing cars and lorries, whose drivers were unaware of what was in the busy road.

It is unclear whether she was killed on the motorway or was already dead when the cars ran over her body.
